Results

If you have scored more A, you are a Hedonist and for you travelling means tasting, feeling and enjoying everything beautiful and good that a place can offer you. For you the history of a place does not only consist in its monuments, but also by its typical gastronomic products and its most characteristic places. Your ideal tour therefore begins in the Sassi, a great cultural site with many handicraft workshops producing fine examples of the typical local products. In the shops of the Sassi you can find ceramic and terracotta items such as the “cuccu”, the famous pottery whistles of Matera, but also the old bread stamp (timbro del pane) and many objects made of papier-mâché, such as beautiful Nativity scenes.
Between one purchase and another you do not fail to visit the many shops selling delicious local food, where you can taste the famous bread of Matera, as well as its cheeses and its DOC wine.

If you have scored more B, you are Contemplative. You feel you need to know and learn everything, past and present, about a new country in order to be truly fascinated by its artistic and natural beauty. Your ideal itinerary is a full immersion in the history of Matera, through the contemplation of its historical museums and its ancient palazzi. To fully experience the magic of this city, you have to be captivated by the marvels of the Sassi, with its enchanted streets and its beautiful squares, particularly Piazza Vittorio Veneto and Piazzetta Pascoli, from both of which you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the Sassi.
A tour of the many churches of which this city is particularly well endowed is fundamental for you, including the rock churches of the Sassi and the churches of the plain.

If you have scored more C, you are a Nature lover. For you travelling is a combination of culture and adventure. You like to discover new places, rarely visited and perhaps wild, where nature is still unspoilt. Your ideal tour is certainly in the Parco della Murgia: thousands of hectares covered with luxuriant vegetation, where you can go trekking, cycling or bird-watching in order to admire the very rare birds that are to be found in the park.
This place also contains rare examples of religious peasant culture, thanks to the many rock churches hewn and carved into the rock and perfectly integrated into the wild natural environment of the Murgia, many of them decorated with frescoes of great artistic importance.
